If Shola continues that kind of play throughout the remaining games he plays, I'll change my tune. I bet he bloody doesn't though.

He's been great off the bench this season, very poor when we had to start him during the ACON though, just doesnt have the stamina.

3 superb cameos against Spurs, Chelsea and now the Mackems, and a great starting performance against Man Utd. He's actually had an okay season in my opinion.

An 'okay' season to you is 4 decent games and 16 terrible ones?

You can't let him off the hook just because he's got a geordie accent.

Its not 16 games though is it, its about 7 or 8 plus a load of ten minute cameos. Sholas inconsistent and always has been, but he can do a job and has done on several occasions. No one scores every time, not even Shearer, but Shola can make a difference sometime and I don't expect anything more than that. You can't just put him on the hook just because he's not a cool new player.

OK season my arse, against Man Utd the whole team was decent he got 1 flick on for 1 goal that demba scored with a fantastic volley. Was still our worst player that night.

A toe poke against sunderland almost saved due to lack of power.

Great goal against tottenham, the one shinning light.

Less than 5 goals all season, with ample game time considering, often against poorer teams.

Overall has hindered pace of attacks, poor hold up play and poor ratio of aerial battles won, lack of intelligent movement overall and caught offside often.

In my opinion ok means average, acceptable, passable.

The stats dont lie hes been well below average.
I love you all

He's an impact sub at best, should never a start again.

No. Pardew has said Cisse will play as the striker from now on and he is a good option to have on the bench.

This.

He has his moments, but other than that he's not even a Championship striker.

I've been a supporter of him for a while, Pardew tends to get the best out of him, but he was s*** today.
