Coming Soon! Third European Club Competition

A third European club competition could be introduced alongside the Champions League and Europa League from 2021 after Uefa's executive committee has given the green light.

My guess is the Champions League will be 'revamped' to stop the "crappy" teams even getting into it and then some new competition sitting in between Champions League v2.0 and the Europa.

What a waste of time. One day they'll have a European competition just for relegated clubs the way things are going.

Pretty sure Ashley mentioned he wanted us to qualify for Europe at one point.

Perhaps a reintroduction of the Cup Winners Cup or the Cup winners joining the Champions League with the 2-4th in the leagues being part of the new competition

I really only tend to watch the Champions League final, as it stands. More football won't appeal to casuals...
