The panel for controversial incidents

Post by TJR » Wed Oct 23, 2013 2:04 pm

If any controversial incidents occur in any prediction league competition over the course of this season there will be an inquiry into the incident by an independent 5 man panel. The 5 man panel will be made up of Cisse's Overheating Torso, KingoStarr, Minty Fresh, PLS and TJR.

The predictors involved in the inquiry will get to post there argument in here. The panel will then decide via PM what decision to make and what action should be taken and then the outcome will be posted on this thread. This process will be used for all inquiries into controversial incidents. To report a controversial incident you can do so by contacting TJR via PM or alternatively by contacting the competition moderator (TJR, PLS or MF depending on comp). Also the 5 panel members may spot controversial incidents and decide to open an inquiry. Once a decision has been made all involved will have 24 hours to appeal the decision, you can do so by posting in this thread.

The OP will constantly be updated to keep a history of all inquiries into controversial incidents throughout the season.

We are now taking job applications for the role of the 5th panel member. If you wish to be considered send your application to me via PM. Then the 4 current panel members will decide on the best applicant for the job. Good luck.

Applications are closed. I can reveal that Cisse's Overheating Torso, cbrad NUFC & Tirer le Ryan Oison Une all applied for the role. Unfortunately there is only one spot available so each applicant will face an interview round. The current panel members are currently coming up with questions and each applicant will face the questions at some point later on today (Friday). The applicant whos answers we like the best will get the job. Good luck.

Tirer le Ryan Oison Une has several sexual harrassment complaints to his name, so I think his application should be put in the bin.

Isn't that what caused the sexual harassment complaints in the first place?

We have sent 10 standard job interview questions out to the applicants. We've already had one response and hopefully we'll get the other two soon and so we can decide. We aim to make an announcement this evening to inform all TF PL predictors who the new panel member is <ok>

We've had the completed interview in from all 3 applicants for some time now. We are still currently coming to a conclusion as to which candidate we will hire. All 3 interviews were fantastic and have left us with a very difficult decision.

Whatever happened to this. Am I going to have to set up an enquiry regarding the selection of the panel for controversial incidents?
What happens if that enquiry becomes controversial, it's a black hole of panels, we don't have enough users for all the panels <ohnoes>

After many hours of examining the candidates and detailed discussion between the panel we have came to a verdict.

It was by no means an easy decision and all the candidates were very good. However there was only one job available so we were forced to pick a winner.

On behalf of the panel I'd like to thank all 3 candidates for applying and I would like to thank all 3 of them and the public for there patience while we came to a decision.

The candidate chosen to step up to the panel is.......

I'll reveal the winner in the morning <ok>

The new panel member is Cisse's Overheating Torso. Congratulations Cisse's Overheating Torso. Cisse's Overheating Torso along with Kingo Starr, PLS, Minty Fresh and TJR make up the panel for controversial incidents.

Commiserations to Tirer le Ryan Oison Une and cbrad NUFC. Both were fantastic applicants and we would have been happy for either of those candidates to step up to the panel. However we had to make a decision as there was only one place. It was a very tough decision to make but Cisse's Overheating Torso got the nod.

We'd like to thank all 3 candidates and the public for there conduct and patience throughout this process. We are all happy it has now came to a conclusion. A particular highlight for me was all 3 candidates describing themselves as Mike Williamson during the interview process.
