Trailer for ASM2 was released yesterday. All sorts of AWESOME. Deserves its own thread really.

Not a massive Spiderman fan but looks alright. I must admit I'm getting a little bored of how much CGI is used in Superhero movies these days.

<wenger>

So you'd rather go back to this would you?

A world with nipple-themed Bat-Suits, George Clooney and corny villains would you?

Be grateful for CGI you kernt.

I was expecting that sort of response.

Of course I appreciate how good we have it now but it seems in films of the last 5 years or so the quality of the script/plot is overlooked due to the high quality CGI.

One of the reasons I love the TDK trilogy so much is because they try to use as little CGI as possible.

I agree.

So many big movie releases have terrible scripts and live purely off how good their CGI is.

I saw the first amazing spider man recently. I personally prefer the original.

I prefer the 2001 Spiderman and 2003 Hulk over the newer versions. I think they were original.

I think people were just pissed off that they weren't true enough to the comic books and tried to do their own thing.

Also, the graphics on the new spiderman movies are worse than the spiderman movie made 12 years ago. I know graphics aren't everything, but seriously...

I thought I was watching a video game cut scene at times watching the latest spiderman.

I watched Spiderman 1 very recently. Graphics wise it's worse than ASM, it's undeniable.

The suit looks much cooler now - the only thing missing is the webbing underneath his armpits.

Second trailer also released yesterday.

Garfield is so much better than Toby Maguire, who was such a s*** Peter Parker. I love the witty Spider-Man of this film compared to the wooden one of the older movies.

Also, Emma Stone <awe>
