Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Post by Ibra » Fri Feb 10, 2012 6:49 pm

Has anybody else got it?

I borrowed it from my mate (can't use the online pass <wah> ) and been playing the campaign all day now, it's amazing. It's graphics and Storyline are beast.

I played Drake's Fortune and Among the Thieves and they were very good too.

I've loved the new combat too made a change from the constant shooting parts. Not that I don't like them.

I got it for Christmas. One of the best, if not the best game I've ever played. All three Uncharted games makes buying a PS3 worthwhile.

I got it for Christmas and still haven't played it as I need to complete the first two still!

I played the first one and hated it. Everybody's been raving about the last two so i've been considering getting them on the cheap.

What was it that made you hate the first one?

The mechanics of movement and aiming are the only massive things i can remember. They just didn't really appeal to me. That was when it came out though and i haven't played any of the games since so it might be that they've patched it up since, or that i was being thick and you could somehow change the movement.

I've heard a few people criticise the mechanics but I don't notice the problems to be honest. I think the main reason I don't notice it is because the graphics, story and most of all set-pieces are so good. I loved the first game but it's come a long long way since then.

Completed it today <diva>

I liked it but don't think it's amazing as some people make out. After a certain amount of time the gameplay gets a bit repetitive.

Combat and movement were tightened up a lot in UC2. The improvements between that and UC3 weren't as great. I definitely recommend getting UC2 though. You can probably get it for under a tenner now.

Finished it the other weekend.

Quite enjoyed it to be honest but I'm more a fan of Assassins Creed.

Looking forward to the new SSX that's comeing out soon.
