I'm not from Newcastle so I can't recommend anything but last time I was in Newcastle I stayed in the Grainger Hotel in Fenham and it was really s***, so don't go thereWUPPERTALER SV 1954 wrote:Hi folks...my brother and me would go to a kick of this great team. I can't imagine a hotel in such a lovely part of the city being of poor quality.Duke wrote:I'm not from Newcastle so I can't recommend anything but last time I was in Newcastle I stayed in the Grainger Hotel in Fenham and it was really s***, so don't go thereWUPPERTALER SV 1954 wrote:Hi folks...my brother and me would go to a kick of this great team. Cairn Hotel http://www.cairnnewcastle.com/ - on the outskirts of the city, easy access to the city centre though plus Jesmond is great for bars and restaurants. http://www.pubsnewcastle.co.uk/Jesmond.htm
Grey Street Hotel - decent nothing flash and right in the city centre also some booking sites have a deal on atm where a £82 room can be picked up for £63.

There aren't many areas that could possibly be cheaper than Fenham to be honest.Duke wrote:Cheapest place we could find IIRC. Stayed in the Ramada in Gateshead which was pretty nicebiggeordiedave wrote:

If you look in airbnb and post the places, we can advise. Might be cheaper
