Great to see the new boys off the mark already
It’s the noise, the passion, the feeling of belonging, the pride in your city.

We're going to win the league!
And in conclusion, how far had you got through reading this before you realised it was my signature?

There's too much optimism, I don't like it

They've been poor but this has been a very controlled and pro performance.

Great win and great performance, can't think of anybody that didn't play well. Special praise for Carroll, Hendrick and Wilson.

I hope this squashes some of the ridiculously negative stuff from pundits (and a few of our own fans). I know it's early days but I've seen so many predictions putting us in the bottom 5. Really doubt we'll be down there much, if at all, this season.
Good result and measured performance in the second half. Still lots of places to improve but that was a good win.

To argue the other way - lads, it’s West Ham. A club in perennial crisis. My tip for relegation this year...Sir Bobby wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 8:56 pmI hope this squashes some of the ridiculously negative stuff from pundits (and a few of our own fans). As always you can only beat the team in front of you, but I honestly think this is the best squad we've had since the last European side. The likes of ASM shouldn't even be at this club, so to have him and Almiron, a proven Premier League goalscorer plus a good group of decent pros (Hendrick, Hayden, Manquillo etc) I'm delighted. Add to that the fact a lot of our team are only just approaching their prime and the likes of Lewis and the Longstaffs emerging and it's a good time for the club. I just wish I could go and bloody watch them.

New signings hit the ground running

This. Great start. Yes it's West Ham who were poor but it was a solid professional display. We have options now on the bench too and a bit of strength in depth which is nice to see. The pace of Fraser, ASM, Wilson & Miggy on the counter.. waiting to see itColly wrote: ↑Sat Sep 12, 2020 9:06 pmAs always you can only beat the team in front of you, but I honestly think this is the best squad we've had since the last European side. Hendrick's goal.. quality finish
Lewis looks classy, I could see why Liverpool wanted him.
