Re: Pre-Season Schedule
The Mainz game is on NUFC TV now. Just over 10 mins gone and we're looking confident on the ball and in possession, a world away from where we were a year ago. Mainz finished 8th in the Bundesliga last season so a good test.

Re: Pre-Season Schedule
Is it his first pre season start? Perhaps it was planned to give him half an hour as he’s hardly played for a long time.

Thing that has stood out for me this pre-season is that the players look fit as f*** already.

And

Miggy having a good pre season…
Curious that Ritchie is playing a lot when he’s seemingly nailed on to leave, when others in a similar position weren’t even taken away.

Re: Pre-Season Schedule
It's also a similar situation for Fernandez, not playing a lot due to injury but being involved in the pre season.Bodacious Benny wrote: ↑Sat Jul 23, 2022 8:06 pmMiggy having a good pre season…

From what i've read (yes i know it's the press ) Howe wants Ritchie to stay but he wants to move closer to his family whether that makes a difference i don't know.
Re: Pre-Season Schedule
yeh ritchie wsnts move bk down bournemouth cos his wife n kids their so thats why he wants move
Re: Pre-Season Schedule
Fernandez being back in the fold might cause a bit of carnage for team selection, I rate him very highly, at nothing else he'd be excellent back up should he stay.
